USDA awards $1M to tribes for nutrition education projects

The Department of Agriculture awarded $1 million in grants to 15 tribes and tribal organizations for nutrition education projects.
The grants will help tribes promote healthy lifestyles.
"These projects will help support and expand nutrition education through self-initiated projects and provide better access to more fruits and vegetables so that we can make great strides in improving the nutrition and health of tribal members," Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said in a press release.
The projects selected are:
